Tony Shamas, a renowned hair salon, undertook a massive SEO project to migrate their legacy website, to a new Content Management System (CMS).
The project involved rebuilding and refactoring content into new templated layouts, which included the migration and restructuring of over 250 pages of content, while ensuring the migration did not negatively impact existing SEO performance.

The migration to a new CMS provided an opportunity to modernize Tony Shamas's online presence and improve user experience. The goal was to seamlessly transition the extensive content to the new platform, optimize it for better SEO performance, and maintain the site’s existing search engine rankings.
Solution
A comprehensive SEO and Content Migration Project
We managed the SEO migration for Tony Shamas by conducting a detailed site audit and developing a migration plan that mapped old URLs to new ones. We created custom page layouts for all previous service and gallery pages, wrote custom code for legacy plugins, rebuilt content into new templated layouts, implementing 301 redirects to preserve SEO value, and migrating extensive content to a new CMS while ensuring the site’s SEO performance remained intact.
